This technique is called block print. Block print is created by a hand carved wooden block that are printing one block after the other with perfection and a steady hand.

The age-old craft of dyeing and colouring a fabric using wooden blocks has been perfected through generations. Each region has its own characteristic patterns that is a symbol of the country’s vast heritage and rich textile culture.

The process of block printing require 10-15 days for the wooden blocks to be perfected. First it need to soak in oil to soften the wood to later hand-carve motifs into the block. Finally, the block is printing one block after the other across the textile to create a complete pattern.

Our concept is rather simple. We make small drops of sun seeking apparel from handcrafted textiles, locally sourced around India in the villages where each technique originates. Every garment is made using 100% organic cotton and knitted accessories in 100% pure merino wool.

Our small drops of new styles are dropping whenever they are ready. Some of them we put up for pre-order to control our production.

What we have is what we have. It is a long process of making our handmade textiles and only in rare occasions we do restocks of a sold-out item if we have some extra fabric.
